I am in the local city farm supply store, buying some chicken life support material (shell grit, vegetarian feed (no prions 
, and some straw). Having just been to see MacHeads I’m wearing my “Mac Geek” t-shirt. I get to the checkout:
Her: “I like the shirt”
Me: “Thanks, it doesn’t get out much these days”
Her: “Wear it with pride”
Me: “Oh, I do” (I think that’s what I said)
Her: “I’m not a nerd I’m a 50th level paladin”
Me: “I think you spend too much time on Facebook”

Unification of photos and music continuing.Channel Nine’s reports on the Mullewa riots, which have apparently been going on for four days so far seem to indicate that they started over a dispute about royalties over a “million dollar telescope”, which is presumably the Square Kilometre Array, or Murchison Widefield Array? Can’t find any online links that mention that though.

BHP Billiton chief executive Marius Kloppers said he believed there was a strong business case for paid parental leave.
“Providing a minimum global standard that is also highly competitive will help us to attract and retain the very best in the industry,” Mr Kloppers said.
“We also recognise that introducing a policy that actively encourages broad inclusion in the workplace will contribute to increasing the diversity of our workforce, which we believe will ultimately give us a strong competitive edge.”
Also includes same sex couples and adoptions. Hopefully the Rudd government will be announcing paid parental leave’s inclusion in the budget next week.
