• Fetching Bilby’s bed frame. It used to be mine! Soon she’ll be all grown up
• Made Jamie’s chicken with potatoes, cherry tomatoes (peeled! At least until I gave up), and oregano
• Move the compost bin to the middles of the ‘herb’ spiral (closer to the house). Redistributed some of the old compost.
• Craft day, and a trip to the park with Puggle and Bilby.
• Said goodbye to Mum, who’s off to Europe for a month.

So, word on the street is that Facebook is having growing pains, seeing as pretty much everyone who knows anyone is using it, they’re having problems getting their server infrastructure to cope with the load. Plus, the vulture capitalists want some payoff, at the same time as more capital’s needed to buy the farm (server farm, that is :). Blog articles such as this one, for example. I guess that’s why Google started out with the invite-only idea for Gmail and Orkut.

Things to add to the birthday wishlist… Some Sunday driving. If you have the means I highly recommend it!

I got on my bus home tonight to notice that the rear section of the bus had its windows covered with fine steel mesh (as used on security screens). I had a sudden fear that I might have accidentally got onto an Australian Corrective Services bus. To prevent a few individuals from scratching their baby scribbles into the bus, half the passengers have to travel like criminals, barely able to see out the windows. Where’s Clint Eastwood when you need him?
