- Beer with Skip
- Ocean’s Thirteen (Enjoyable, but unremarkable)
- Shopping with Puggle
- Kylie’s BBQ with added spa-ey goodness
- Many people crafting
- Fishing with Puggle, his grandfather and Uncle. Catching many blowies, but very enthusiastic about it
Even while the cold wind took its toll, he wanted to stay until we caught “a big fish”

Election coming…
Sunday, June 10th, 2007Time to stoke up the Cold War again. Trot out Niven and Pournelle’s Strategic Defence Initiative (aka Star Wars) missile defence system that they brainwashed Reagan with, and that’s unlikely to ever work. Annoy our neighbours, and trading partners.
Brendan Nelson is on Lateline saying that terrorists might get hold of ballistic missiles. Surely they’d just smuggle them onto the train?
Sigh.

Yo Ho, haul together, hoist the colours high
Thursday, June 7th, 2007Thanks to the Pirates Wikia (beware spoilers :):
The King and his men stole the Queen from her bed
And bound her in her bones.
The seas be ours and by the powers
Where we will, we’ll roam.
Yo ho, haul together, hoist the colours high
Heave ho, thieves and beggars, never shall we die!
Smarter cars
Wednesday, June 6th, 2007From the RAC review of the Honda Legend:
It even uses the GPS system to identify the cabin position relative to the sun and bias the delivery of cool air to the sunny side to compensate for this orientation.
Meanwhile the Jaguar S Type Diesel avoids the problem of having to re-prime the diesel fuel system (which usually involves a trip to the workshop) by faking being out of fuel when there’s about 4 litres left in the tank.
Now if only you couldn’t crash the things.
