Thursday, May 31st, 2007

I’ve got the piles of junk, now all I need is the 3×30″ Cinema Displays. Here’s the JoyOfTech take on it.

Flags of the world, by colour

Tuesday, May 29th, 2007

This is pretty cool, a collection of pie charts of colours used in national flags. Looks like white and red are pretty popular. See if you can find Australia. Powered by Python :)

The weekend

Monday, May 28th, 2007

Went to the park with Puggle (It’s been a while since we last went. Longer legs make him faster! He’s harder to catch when I’m encumbered with his discarded scooter too). Fortunately it being freezing cold seems to mean the playground is quite deserted. Beer with Skippy, beer and pool with the Novocastrians, blogging, chats. Bilby is scooting around on the floor now, nowhere is safe.

Could you be an Australian citizen?

Monday, May 21st, 2007

Could you pass the citizenship test, for example? Although you’re apparently allowed to take it as many times as necessary to get the 60% pass rate, it wasn’t clear if the test is available in languages other than english. Regardless of correctness I don’t know I could stomach giving some of the answers I think they’re after.

Monday, May 21st, 2007

Today when you were in the bath I kissed the top of your head, you looked up at me and said “I love you”, and I was so happy that I then shed a tear.
